3.1 Accounts

You must provide accurate information when connecting your Stripe account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials.

3.2 Fees

• Subscription: TapDeposit is currently free for Merchants (no monthly subscription).
• Stripe fees: you are responsible for standard Stripe processing fees (typically 1.5% + 20p), which are deducted automatically from the transaction.
• Client booking fee: TapDeposit adds a 49p booking fee to the total amount paid by the Client. TapDeposit sets this fee and may change it from time to time, with reasonable notice to Merchants of material changes. The fee shown to the Client at checkout applies to that transaction and is retained by TapDeposit.

3.3 Chargebacks and disputes

TapDeposit provides tools (digital signature and IP capture) to help you prove a Client accepted your cancellation policy. TapDeposit cannot guarantee the outcome of any chargeback or dispute. The final decision lies with the Client's bank. We are not liable for lost deposits or chargeback fees.

4.1 Payments

By clicking "Pay", you agree to pay the Deposit Amount plus the secure Booking Fee shown at checkout. The Booking Fee is currently 49p for GBP payments, is paid to TapDeposit for the provision of the secure payment platform, is non-refundable, and may change from time to time.

4.2 Cancellation policy

By ticking the checkbox "I agree to the policy," you are entering into a binding agreement with the Merchant. TapDeposit records your IP address and timestamp as proof of this agreement. Refunds are subject to the specific Merchant's policy, not TapDeposit's control.
